Our founder, Ho Yin Wong (Deacon), was awarded a 24-month incubation and funding support of HK$600,000 in the PolyU Maker Fund Programme 2021 organised by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
Under the supervision of our advisor, Dr Xinyan Huang, Deacon with the project entitled “Smart Building Emergency System”, was selected ultimately to enjoy a 24-month incubation and funding support after a series of intense hardware bootcamp and first assessments.
PolyU Maker Fund Programme is a tailor-made program for young Hong Kong makers by leveraging its expertise and resources as well as partners’ network and through the support of the Youth Development Fund (YDF) (Funding Scheme for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area) under the administration of Youth Development Commission of Home Affairs Bureau.
